This week

Well life has not been to exciting. We came home and Johnny has been studying non stop. So that means I have not done anything. Its hard because I don't like going out without Johnny because I get nervous. You have to understand I grew up in a town with a population of less than two thousand, so walking around the streets of Miami by myself is a little scary. I think I'm starting to feel the cabin fever. I get so excited to just go to the grocery store or do laundry.
Yesterday I babysat for the Taylors so they could go on a date. I had fun with the kids. They are so easy to take care of. I let Matt play video games. Rachel mostly kept herself entertained. I did have them draw pictures for there parents. They are such good kids. I have so much fun playing with them.
I am trying to get my shape in shape for those of you that watch the Tyra show. I am keeping a food journal and I started doing yoga this week. I hope I keep it up. I always to really well for about two weeks and then get frustrated because I can't see any results so I give up. I want to be in shape for Dominica. It is very hilly there and you have to walk everywhere. I'm getting excited for the big move. When we were in Orlando I realized we are half way through MERP and will be heading for the island soon. I have a ton of stuff to plan and get done before we head out. Yay now I have something to do!!!

Epcot

I have to admit before we went to Epcot I didn't know what it is. All I knew about it was that it has the big golf ball, but it was so much fun! The Test Track was awesome and I really liked the simulated space one( I can't remember the name of it). Just so you know it takes forever to get around the world. It was cool to go to the different countries. When you get to the new country you feel like you are there. The sights and smells are authentic. We went to Soaring. I had done that in California Adventure but Johnny hadn't. Hunny I Shrunk the Audience was fun as well. I was shocked to find out that the "golf ball" has a ride in it. Everything was a blast.

Hollywood Studios

Friday we were in Hollywood. It was so fun to see all the shows. We didn't get a chance to go to some of the things we wanted because the line for Tower of Terror was long. We waited over an hour, but it was so worth it! It was so much fun. I do have to say I think the the Rockin' Roller Coaster was my favorite though. I loved it! The car show was really fun and did some shocking things. I really enjoyed the 3D Muppet show. We missed the very first of the Indiana show but we still had fun there too.

Magic Kingdom

We went to Magic Kingdom on Thursday. The Taylors were there as well that day but we didn't think we would see them at all. Well we did. We were walking to go to the Jungle Cruise and there they were on the Magic Carpet ride. The kids looked like they were having a lot of fun. We did all the rides we wanted to except Splash Mountain because it was closed. I have always wanted to ride the Tea Cups. Its one of my little girl fantasy and finally at the age of 22 I got to. Space Mountain was awesome! The lines were not bad at all. We never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride. The firework show was amazing! I felt like a little kid all day. Ask Johnny I had a huge smile on my face all day!

DMV

Well yesterday Johnny and I were at the DMV all day. We were trying to get IDs so we can go to Disney World. Let me just say it was ridiculous. We made sure that we had all the paper work we needed and an extra proof of residency. They discounted two of Johnny's and one of mine. So we thought we would be fine, I would just have to fill out a paper that said that he lives with me as his second proof. But then they realized mine wouldn't work because one of my proofs said Miami and one said South Miami. How stupid is that. Anyway long story short, we went and changed the address at the bank and got our statement reprinted and went back and got our IDs. We are going to Disney World!!!!!!!! See you on the other side!

Every Member a Missionary

I'm so sorry about my last post. I feel like I was being poopy. It might have been the weather. it has been so cold here the last couple of weeks. yesterday the sun came out and the temperature went up, its back in the 70's and I'm loving it. They said on the news that this cold spell we went through was the coldest its gotten since 1940. I wouldn't have minded as much but I had only one pair of pants. I only brought shorts because we didn't think we would need pants. AAAARRRGGGGHHHHH
Well I spent last night and all day today with the sisters missionary. I have gone with them a couple times now and really enjoy it. It gives me something good to do with my time.
Johnny took his first mini and thinks he did well. He studied so hard. We will let you know how he did.

Life Goes On

I am so sorry to all my faithful followers. I have been horrible at my blog lately. I just feel like now that we are settled here in Miami my life has become a mind numbing string of useless nothings. I love days that I go to the store or the park with the Taylors. I feel like this breaks the monotony of my life. I wish I was brave enough to go places without Johnny, but I feel a little unsafe when I'm by myself.
Okay enough depressing myself. Today Johnny got this package of medical books today and one was an anatomy book. I don't know why but it got me all interested. I think I may be spending some time looking at it. I was asking Johnny all these questions so he showed me a web sight that I can watch surgeries on. We watched a heart transplant and it was so awesome. I think I may get into all this medicine stuff and help Johnny study. I think it helps him learn when he has to teach me about stuff, so I will keep asking questions.
I have felt really curious lately, maybe because I have so much time on my hands. The other night I kept Johnny up until probably 4:30 or so answering all my questions. Wow I think I need to use my library card a little more or maybe find a hobby. Oh speaking of, I think Katie and I are going to start jogging and doing yoga together. If we do I will have to track my progress on here. well I hope this all wasn't to boring for you faithful readers. I will try to do better. I think I forgot how beneficial it is for me to have my blog. It lets me get everything out and then I can get on with finding something to do with my life. I've already have some ideas. Thanks blog!

The New Year

Johnny and I had a great time bringing in the new year. We went to the beach during the day and had a great time. We went to South Beach and it was crazy packed. It was a gorgeous day though. The waves were just perfect, for me at least. They were big enough that they were fun but small enough that if I got taken out by one I could still catch my breath. That night we went over to our friends, the Wiltons. We had a lot of good food and then played Killer Bunnies. I won even though everyone ganged up on me! After we watched the ball drop we made breakfast which was also very good. It was a great day!
We really haven't done anything since then. Johnny started school again on Monday and Has been studying 24/7 because his first mini(really big test) is next week. I did go out with the sister missionaries last night. I enjoyed getting to know them. Today I went to the park with Katie and the kids. It was a lot of fun as always. Thanks Matt for inviting me!

Me and the ocean!

Johnny with his silly eyes closed.

Me sun bathing!
